STORY

The Jenkins Family...

A family of researchers specialized in the field of Necromancy made of Dahlia Jenkins, Shaun Lee-Jenkins and their 4-years-old daughter, Annalia Lee-Jenkins. They are a family of Ascalonian descent that lived in the Outskirts of Ascalon, though when the Charr overtook the fields of Ascalon they were forced to leave far away, in order to escape their cruelty. They decided to venture to the Shiverpeak Mountains, which they considered a safe place, though, when they first arrived in the white embrace of the mountains, they felt the cold ,yet they managed to live with it, since they considered it gave them the protection of Grenth ,the god of Death and Cold, himself.

The time passed. Nearly 3 years passed and the Jenkins family got used to the ways of the Norn. They started a research for the Spirit World, the field of Voodoo, Mojos and Bijous and their connection with the spirit world. Little Annalia, being a curious girl started reading books about magic and necromancy and she was considerably good for her age. By the age of 7 she managed to re-animate fallen animals and create small wells and she kept on growing in power.
Anna's parents, considered Voodoo a very dangerous field of magic, so they hid every note connected with it so that their innocent daughter won't fall on the dark side of magic. The following 2 years, they kept on practising this art, far from little Annalia's eyes. Though the cold environment of the Shiverpeaks hid devious dangers, the Jenkins family kept their bonds, remaining a loved family...till one fateful day.

The Jenkins family was enjoying a moment of their free time, when footsteps were heard in the soft snow. They were fast-paced, like a deer running through the woods and when they stopped, a hideous growl was heard. The Icebrood arrived, and while their minds were being controlled by Jormag, they laid waste at everything before them. Anna was horrified, her parents were shocked. Not knowing what to do they told little Anna to hide in the pantry and come out when silence prevails.
Meanwhile, Dahlia and Shaun gave their everything to defeat the Icebrood...to no avail. They were killed horribly, their bodies unrecognisable and then was buried in the snow. Anna came out of the pantry, when the Icebrood were gone. She was confused but despite her state she searched for her parents. When she went out she saw her parent's necklaces between a big amount of blood. Her heart was overtaken by sorrow and sadness. She could not hold any longer and she started crying, screaming for her parents. The snowfall became even more severe and the girl was exhausted, thus she fainted in the cold, her tears still staining the cold ground. After a few hours she managed to stand up, her eyes filled with a mix of rage and sadness. She went inside her house and started getting every note and book on necromancy she could find in order to find a way to restore her beloved mother and father, when she found out her parent's secret.

Anna found the notes for the Voodoo and she was drawn to it. She felt like it called to her. She studied for years in isolation, not meeting any human besides some Sons of Svanir, which often she used as subject for experiments. Parental love became a field that Anna missed, a field she craved for. So, she searched for a family to replace the lost one...She traveled to Kryta so that she would find something to call home. She met a man, hoping that he would be the one to create a family with, only to discover that her tricked her into his games of lust. He died by her own hands, making Anna lose all faith in love. She put on a grotesque make-up, hoping it would send all men away, protecting her fragile heart and mind from their shameless actions. Her mind snapped completely, as she hunted down couples, killing them and saying that if their loved is strong they would be together in the afterlife. The fact is, Anna was slowly being possessed by spirits, letting them control her body and drive her into dispisable acts, making her a monster. When she was lost, she found The Prophet that promised her a family to belong to and power to behold. Thus, she Joined the Wheel. After some time in the Wheel, she met Cap. Cap understood her every flaw and completed her missing parts. She restored her faith in love. Now she tries to link the Brotherhood and create the family she always longed for...



PERSONALITY

Anna's personality would be divided in two. When not in combat Anna is is sweet, kind and always willing to help and protect everyone in her Brotherhood. Though, when in combat Anna's immoral ways take over and she becomes a little more masochistic, laughing on the pain of others. That is mostly because she lets the spirits take over to increase her power. This makes her lose sight of reality, turning into a machine that corrupts and destroys.

POWERS

Anna uses Curses, Spirits and chants in battle. She inflicts curses through her Voodoo Doll, which has to be imbued with a person's body part, be it hair or blood or skin...Then she can inflict curses. She mostly causes pain to the target making them unable to move from the pain. Anna can inflict major curses if she is merged with dreadful spirits. To do this she must sacrifice a part of her soul. The first stage sacrifices her memory, turning her aura dark purple and enabling her to cause small wounds, lesser bleeding and extreme pain. The next stage sacrifices her sanity, enabling her to inflict gapping and deathly wounds to the target, unbearable pain and poisoning. Though powerful, Anna in this state is very vulnurable and clumsy since she is more like a mass of dreadful and rageful spirits than a human. She will have no memory of these states. Except that, Anna can pass for a brief moment to the realm of the spirits in order to dodge attacks. Lastly, Anna has three pendants, each one has inside an animal spirit : A Stalker paw that will give her agillity, a bear fang that will giver her power and a turtle shell that will give her defence from any disease and mind illness. She can only have activated one pendants at a time...

Relationships

Ashrael : She respects Ashrael and feels very thankful to be accepted in this brotherhood, though she is slightly afraid of him.

Kaila : She feels her as her rival, but a friend at the same time. She might be a little bit stubborn and man-like but she is honoured to fight by her side.

Hans : She thinks highly of Hans. She believes that he is very skilled in battle and she is secretly jealous of his long, blonde hair...She thinks of him as a friend, but sometimes she feels offended when he comments her weird dressing selection.

Dee : She finds Dee a very funny delightful person to be with. She is thankful that he protects Lumi, yet she doesn't like his pervented nature

Jiro : She thinks of Jiro as a friend. She feels like she could speak to him often, though he is usually distant. She is amused by his knowledge and she is glad that she can fight alongside him...

Eloise : She thinks she is very friendly and she is very happy that she enjoys her tea. The bonds of the two are becoming stronger and she is thankful that feels the Brotherhood as a family.

Lumi : She has a weakness for Lumi. She actually like how innocent she is, or acts like it. She would protect her at any cost.

Aparro : Though previously she was very positive with Aparro, after the incident with Lumi, she is disgusted by him. Her rage is somwhat gone and she is kinder to hom now, but she is still not the same as before.

Dathryn : She kind of hates Dathryn for his egoistic and nosy attitude. She has stated that she wants to kill him various times, though she is usually kidding. She is sad that he doesn't view the Brotherhood as his family and she plans on changing that. Although he is being a dick to her, she keeps on tending to him when he gets hurt. She doesn't really know why, though.

Lythras : Overal, she likes Lythras. She thinks he is very intelligent and he is often friendly. Though his mask creeps her out she would like to hang out more with him...

Cherylien : She likes Cherylien but she thinks that she is way too innocent. She often wants to tell her to toughen up and not to be so shy. She wishes that she would talk more to everyone...

Ireth : She doesn't really know Ireth, as she is often distant to everyone. She is interested in her bow skills and appereance.

Fizz : She liked Fizz. He was her best friend in the Brotherhood, he took care of her and cheered her up. When he left the Brotherhood she was devastated. Sh hopes that she will meet him again.

Cap : Anna loves Cap with all her heart. The bond she has created with it is so strong that would last for eternity. She will protect Cap with all her powers.

Lullu : She doesn't really know Lullu, but usually she is annoyed by her. She doesn't like her attitude and she thinks she is over-protective with Fizz. She is also annoyed that she never calls her by her name but she calls her "Dark Lady" instead...

Knas : She likes Knas. She especially likes how fast he catches up on human culture and his comments amuses her. She often refers to him as Teddy because of the bear skin he has for a hat.

Ryt : Like most, she thinks of Ryt as a friend. She thinks he is a very pleasant companion and his powers are very interesting.

Rin : She also doesn't really know Rin but she thinks that she is also very friendly and a joyful person to be with.

Kaliandra : Kaliandra was the first friend Anna had in the Brotherhood and she still is very happy that they are together. She also thinks she is funny...

Isadora : She likes Isadora because of her manners but she also dislikes her because of her strong bond with Dathryn. She would love to learn more about her powers and story.

Salandra : She thinks of Salandra as her little sister. She is happy when she is around and while others think that her powers are useless in battle, Anna thinks that she will be a dangerous foe if she becomes a bit more mean and bold.

Kaezel : She thinks Kaezel is a fun guy to be around and she often smiles to him, though as with Dee, she dislikes how perverted he is.

Dole : She thinks of him as her brother, if not anything more. If she hadn't already given her heart to Cap, he would be the one to complete her. As with Cap, she will protect him from harm at any cost.

Darick : She considers Darick as one of her close relations, she thinks of him as her brother. She cares about him.

So, through a lot of thinking and a convo with Ash, I decided to completely change Anna. The whole Porcelain and Dollification theme gave her, seamingly unlimited power, plus she was very difficult to beat, since she could not be cut or burned but only crushed. Also her powers were a little difficult to RP and there where various times I didn't really know what to do with them ;_;
Thus, I gave her the Voodoo theme, in order to keep some of the "doll" theme, and I want to thank Ash for the help <3
Her personality is the same, I will just need to re-write it again, cause some things slightly changed. The relations are the same.
Now, later today I will finish the Powers part, in which I will describe her Voodoo and the whole thing.

Well, I have not found any mentions of Voodoo being practiced in GW. There is voodoo in WoW, but in GW? Hmm... only thing -close- to it would be the "Voodoo-like" armor set. Otherwise... meh.

Well, curses could be considered as Voodoo, plus the corruption abillities remind it a little. And there are Voodoo dolls as focuses so yeah. There might not be Voodoo as a skill itself, but I think that the dollification was MUCH more off lore
