AppearanceAparro has pink, shoulder-lenght hair. Several tresses of hair cover merely half of his face, concealing his right eye. Both his eyes have an amber-like hue to them. He has curved, thin eyebrows that rest above his eerie eyes. He is often seen wearing either a long, blue wizard-like coat that often ensures his scholarly appearance, or can also be seen wearing bright, purple clothes that would rather resemble a minstrel's attire. Aparro does favor tight pants and leather boots, along with the fitting gloves.( sometimes adorned with pointy/clawlike fingertips) Rather obvious is his morbid fascination for bone-like decorations. Varying from a mere necklace towards a very skull resting atop his hood. Neither does he show any compassion for the deceased animals that serve as fur border beneath his robes. Few know that his hair colour has been altered greatly, and orignially held a dark brown hue.
PersonalityAparro Van Grans is a egocentric, flamboyant and perhaps somewhat sadistic human being. He often attempts to behave politely when in the company of supposedly 'superior' colleagues. Yet he is often described as flamboyant, annoying and most provocative. He manages to anger even the calmest of characters with his sudden, and unwanted singing. Van Grans often sings about commonplace topics, that take little skill to perform. He thinks poorly of non-humans, and perhaps sometimes even non-Ascalonians. Often finding it entertaining to meddle with the affairs of Asura and Sylvari, and preferably mocking them as well. Aparro doesn't seem to enjoy talking about his past very much, often changing the subject, or ignoring the questions asked to him. There are few that heard any information regarding his childhood, and none can be sure if he tells the truth or not.
Character relationshipsAshrael Shadaar: Aparro thinks of him as a truly ambitious and worthy leader, as Aparro often attempts to throw flattering comments at him, which mostly go unnoticed.
Annalee Jenkins: He thinks of her as most fascinating, showing great interest in her profession as a Doll Maker. But above all, he's jealous about her unique choice of fashion.
Infected Cap: Much to his displeasure, Aparro finds Infected Cap to be vile, sordid and most disturbing. He often shivers at the sight of his appearance, and hopes that one day his leader will rid the order of all non-human members.
Kaliandra Ashgard: Aparro is pleased to see that at least one of his Null Weaver-colleagues behaves like a true woman of nobility. As he enjoys to keep her company, and serve as a worthy conversational partner.
Dathryn: Perhaps the only person who shares his dreams and ambitions, showing the same disrespect for foul lowly creatures. Their hatred for the Charr is one obvious thing they have in common, as they are both pure blooded Ascalonians.
